First Pinoy Idol Gretchen Espina answered the reactions and comments that she bagged the title for Pinoy Idol because of her father’s political connection. Espina was the daughter of Governor Rogelio Espina of Biliran, a smallest provinces in eastern Visayas. According to Espina, “The viewers chose me as their idol.
