British alternative rock band ColdPlay and American rapper Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. better known as Lil Wayne earned the most noms in the 51st Annual Grammy Award Nominations. Lil Wayne receives eight Grammy nominations including Album of the Year for Tha Carter III while ColdPlay receives seven Grammy nominations including Record of the Year for their song “Viva La Vida”.
