North Korea a main suspect in Cyber Attack in US and South Korea
North Korea is the main suspects on massive cyber attack that paralyzed government and other websites in the US and South Korea. The said cyber attack which began in US last July 4 (American Independence Day) and in South Korea on Tuesday.
The cyber attack hits US government agencies from the Treasury Department to the Secret Service and South Korea’s presidential office, parliament, defense and foreign ministries. Some media reports in South Korea last May, that North Korea was running a cyber warfare to hack into US and South Korea military agencies to gather confidential information. South Korean and US authorities were working to identify the creators of the virus.
North Korea has been spewing threats against the United States and firing an intercontinental rockets, including an underground nuclear test.
