Lakers Parade Route | 2009 Lakers Parade
The Los Angeles Lakers parade route will begin at Staples Center runs along Figueroa Street and then ends at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where a victory celebration takes place. The players and coaches will be honored for their efforts in front of a crowd Lakers fans.The Lakers Parade will take place this Wednesday, June 17th.
The 2009 Lakers Parade begins at 11am, double-decker buses will carry players, coaching staff, Lakers executives and City officials. The parade starts from Staples Center at Figueroa and travel nearly two-mile route along Figueroa to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where the Official Championship Ceremony takes place.
Lakers fans are invited to stand along Figueroa Street to cheer the Lakers team who won their fifteenth NBA Championshipin the franchise’s history. Lakers fans are urged to arrive early if they are attending, to avoid traffic.
