USS Freedom (LCS-1) – Littoral Combat Ship | One of the Fastest Ships
The USS Freedom is one of the fastest ships in the Navy. USS Freedom (LCS-1) – the first ship in the U.S. Navy’s new Littoral Combat Ship class, it is one of the high-tech ships that can chase down Somalia pirates faster and more aggressive than other ships.

USS Freedom is designed to be a fast and capable to go up to 45 knots. USS Freedom is the first of two different LCS designs being made, the other one is USS Independence (LCS-2) that is under construction.
