UFC: Frank Mir postpone rematch with Brock Lesnar due to knee injury
Interim UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir has postpone rematch with Brock Lesnar due to his right knee injury during his training and subsequent arthroscopic surgery. Frank Mir rematch fight against Brock Lesnar was supposedly held on May 23 this year.
According to Mir,“I’m not happy about the postponement, but I’m taking this fight very seriously, and I want to be at my best when I step into the Octagon with Brock Lesnar again.”
The postponement of the said rematch was made during Saturday night’s UFC 96 telecast held at the Nationwide Arena. No exact date of the said rematch was been announced.
