Rashad Evans vs Lyoto Machida on main event of UFC 98
UFC Light Heavyweight “Sugar” Rashad Evans defends his crown for the first time against fellow unbeaten Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida on main event of UFC 98. The UFC Light Heavyweight bout will replaced the postponed fight between UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir against Brock Lesnar.
The UFC heavyweight champion fight was postponed due to Mir’s right knee injury during his training and subsequent arthroscopic surgery. Rashad Evans vs Lyoto Machida fight will be held on May 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
UFC 98 also features former UFC welterweight champions Matt Hughes against Matt “The Terror” Serra. UFC 98 will be available at pay-per-view on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network, TVN, BellTV, Shaw Communications and Viewer’s Choice Canada for a suggested retail price of $44.95 for standard definition.
