ESPN Winter X Games 2009: Winter X Games 13 Schedule
The ESPN Winter X Games 2009 or The Winter X Games 13 is schedule to open to the public on Thursday and runs through Sunday (January 22-25, 2009) in Buttermilk Mountain, Aspen, Colorado. This 13th edition is organized by ESPN Winter X Games and Aspen Skiing Company.
Winter X Games is the best winter sports event in the world. More than 250 athletes from 15-plus countries are competing in Skiing, Snowboard and Snowmobile. ESPN announced last October that Winter X Games will now feature equal prize money for men and women. Winners are expected to earn at least $30,000.

Winter X Games will remain its venue of games in Aspen, Colorado at least through 2012. Organizers ESPN and Aspen Skiing Co. agreed for an extension due to the deal was set to expire in 2010.
