Abraham Lincoln handwritten speech will be auction
Original handwritten speech of Abraham Lincoln in 1864 calling for the United States to unite in the midst of its Civil War will be auction at top price in New York. Lincoln rare handwritten speech will be auction on February 12, The bicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.
Lincoln’s last public address speech was sale for three million dollars last 2002. The auction house estimates the handwritten speech will fetch between three and four million dollars. A rural library in New York has owned the said handwritten speech since 1928 and decided to sell it to construct a new building. The manuscript has only been shown publicly once before in 1976, for a single day.
