Boston Celtics Kevin Garnett suspended for one game

Boston Celtics star player Kevin Garnett was suspended for one game without pay by the league, It was announced by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations. In addition, Andrew Bogut’s foul that was committed on Kevin Garnet has been upgraded to a Flagrant Foul Penalty One.

Kevin Garnet will serve his suspension Tuesday when Boston Celtics host the New York Knicks at TD Banknorth Garden.

The incident happend around 3:58 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Celtics (9-2) win 102-97 over Milwaukee Bucks (5-6) at the Bradley Center. Garnet and Bogut had confrontation in the remaining minutes of the forth quarter after Bogut’s left arm struck Garnett’s mouth. Kevin Garnett struck Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut in the face.
