Wreckage of C-130 plane located by survey ship USNS John McDonnell

USNS John McDonnell, an oceanographic survey ship of the United Sates Navy has located the wreckage of the Philippine Air Force C-130 cargo plane that crashed on the night of August 25 while on route to Iloilo to pick up members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
The USNS John McDonnell survey ship has located the wreckage of Philippine Air Force C-130 at 1.3 nautical miles east of Bucana village in Davao City. The C-130 plane was found below the sea at the depth of 130 meters or 426 feet while other major parts of the said C-130 plane has also detected in the seabed of Davao Gulf.
Philippine Navy spokesman Lt. Col. Edgard Arevalo said ““Images captured by USNS McDonnel have been forwarded to Philippine Authorities”.
