Four More Contestant ended up their Pinoy Idol dream

Four more contestant has ended up their Pinoy Idol dream last June 1. Pinoy Idol is the second franchise of Idol series in the Philippines which aired in GMA network. The four contestant who ended up their Idol journey were Vren Villaflor and Regene Ong, Sherwin Marquez and Rye Estrada.

Mae Flores, Meryl David, Vren Villaflor and Regene Ong are the girls who are in the bottom group while Robby Navarro, Ram Chaves, Sherwin Marquez and Rye Estrada for the boys. Rye’s exit was the most shocking since he is considered as the strongest male contestant. Judges Jolina Magdangal and Ogie Alcasid thinks that Rye should not be eliminated early, but other judge Wyngard said he had expected the four contestant to exit as early as last week.

Vren sang Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings,” Regene performed U2’s “With Or Without You,” Sherwin belted out Barry Manilow’s “The Old Songs,” and Rye gave his rendition of the Styx’s “Babe.”

Compared last week, there were no tears tonight from the four contestant who got eliminated. There are now only 16 contestant remain standing on the said search. Walton Zerrudo, Kid Camaya, Daryl Celis, Warren Antig, Toffer Rei, JJ Jr, Robby Navarro and Ram Chaves for the boys while Jayanne Bautista, Sue Ellen, Carol Leus, Penelope, Jeni Rawolle, Gretchen Espina, Mae Flores and Meryl David.
