Dennis Trillo as Gagambino
Carlo Caparas comic character Gagambino was first attached to actor Richard Gutierrez. It was thought that Gagambino would have been Richard’s Gutierrez next primetime soap after the “Kamandag” and possibly before Captain Barbel meets Darna. But Richard Gutierrez was moved to do an original story “Codename: Asero” where he paired to Heart Evangelista, GMA’s new kapuso star.
Gagambino’s character was opened for other male led star of GMA 7. People got confused on who will played the said role, JC de Vera’s name came out to be possible main star for Gagambino. GMA 7 finally choose who will portray the Gagambino role and it’s Dennis Trillio. The young actor was invited to do the teaser confidentially without any confirmation announcement.
GMA 7 was supposed to show their new 4 primetime shows teaser trailer on the showing of Regal Entertainment movie My Monster Mom. But the said teaser trailer was shown together with the AVP for the 58th anniversary of the GMA network last night June 2.
