Malacañang Expects Result on Cebu’s Black Suede Scandal
Malacañang says they want early results within the week on the investigation in what they called Cebu’s Black Suede Scandal happened at a government-run hospital in Cebu. The said scandal involves a 30+ year old homosexual from Cebu learned that his rectum operation at a government-run Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center is being uploaded on video sharing site Youtube. The said video was named “Black Suede Scandal”.
Presidential Management Staff head Cerge Remonde, DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III promised swift action on the matter. But according to the news as of early Monday, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center still refused to name those involved in the incident. Even the Church officials in Cebu considers the conduct of medical practitioners involved in the surgery scandal very unprofessional and unethical.
It was clear that his Right to Privacy as a private citizen was been violated. An those medical practitioner involved must face their consequences.
