The Philippines is one of the many countries who will face great problem due to global warming. The problem may will be happen if people continue to disregard the consequences of a warmer planet. The primary contributor to a warmer planet is caused by carbon dioxide emission from automobiles and industry.
According to some sources millions of Filipinos living along coastlines is at danger from rising sea levels, they will be dislocated and become environmental refugees. Some experts says that if the continues rise of sea level happen, it may wipe out the half of Metropolitan Manila coastal city of Navotas. Read more
Mindanao Export Increase 23% in 2007
Being a person from Mindanao, I am very happy that my beloved land has increases its export by almost 23% to 2.59 billion last year from 2.10 billion last 2006. Coconut and bananas tops the list of export products. Coconut farmers in Mindanao will be carry to develop their farms due to government supports such as high seedlings of coconut varieties and increase price of copra.
Other top exports of Mindanao are nickel ore, tuna, iron ore agglomerates, preserved pineapple, iron and non-alloy steel, fresh pineapple and desiccated coconut. Read more

The original nine (9) municipalities of the province of Misamis Occidental grew into the present three cities of Ozamiz, Oroquieta and Tangub and the fourteen (14) municipalities of Aloran, Baliangao, Bonifacio, Calamba, Clarin, Concepcion, Don Victoriano, Jimenez, Lopez Jaena, Panaon, PLaridel, Sapang Dalaga, Sinacaban and Tudela with a total of 490 barangays.

Philippine Students Win 2 SEAMEO Blog Awards
Philippine high school students from Mountain Province wins 2 awards of the Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization (SEAMEO) for Regional School Internet Project Competition 2007. Two high school team students from Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School (MPGCHS) will recieve $715 each for their winning blogs, according to a statement by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
One team shared the top spot in the first round of Regional School Internet Project with the Bartley Secondary School of Singapore, while the other team shared the top spot of the second round with Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan School from Brunei. Read more

We all know its summer time and yeah! it is hot in the Philippines especially here in Metro Manila. I don’t know if this news would make you happy or make your mind decide to move away from Metro Manila. PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) forecast showed that Metro Manila would have 37-degree weather from Sunday to Tuesday and 38-degree Celsius on Wednesday. Tuguegarao will also experience a 38 degree Celsius weather Monday to Wednesday so don’t you worry Metro Manila is not alone
